Oil and gasoline prices sometimes soar to outrageously high amounts, and it is the belief of many consumers, including your candidate for NYS Attorney General, that there is some manipulation of these prices, causing excessive profits for the oil companies and unnecessary costs for consumers.
If elected as NYS Attorney General, I would investigate one or more price runups to try to understand what caused the higher prices and who profited from them.
The key may be to find someone willing to provide inside information about the apparent manipulation. The whistleblower might possibly qualify for a very large amount of money as his/her reward for blowing the whistle on his former employer.
