Carl Person's Default Candidacy for Mayor in 18,500 Towns

Prior to deciding to run for NYS Attorney General, Carl Person started a campaign to run as "default candidate" in all 18,500 towns and villages in the United States, giving residents of every town and village an opportunity to put him on the local ballot for mayor/council if nobody else wanted to run on Person's platform. The platform consisting of 15 election issues, is fully described at Person's electionissues website, Person's Election Issues Website.

The purpose is to have Person or someone else similarly disposed to appoint Carl Person or other qualified person as Town Attorney General. No salaries are involved or would be taken. If Person should wind up as mayor or council member in any towns or villages as well as being elected NYS Attorney General, he would obviously withdraw from any situations involving a conflict of interest.
