Discuss Your Legal Representation
with Attorney Carl Person

Let me introduce myself. I am Carl Person, a New York attorney and creator of www.lawmall.com and its more than 100 websites. I am interested in providing legal representation in various types of lawsuits. I've had more than 40 years' experience including antitrust, civil rights, copyright, trademark, patent, "theft of idea", breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, abuse of process, malicious prosecution, libel and slander, price discrimination, class actions, failure to pay all wages due and numerous other areas.

Quite often a person seeking a lawyer thinks that he needs one type of lawyer when in fact he needs someone entirely different. For example, a person accused of a crime may have a criminal lawyer but this attorney is often the last person who would be willing to bring a civil rights action against the prosecutor. Another example, a "transactional" attorney who prepares, pursues or files patent, copyright or trademark registration applications is often not willing or capable of litigating infringement issues in court. Similarly, attorneys who spend their time in litigation are generally not the right attorneys to see about copyright, trademark or patent "transactional" work.

With my 40+ years of litigation experience, I have developed a way to reduce expenses for my clients (and myself). I have discussed some of these techniques in my website www.carlperson.com. I invite you to look at the website. My Attorney Website - www.carlperson.com

In litigation, the pleadings are often the most important part of the case, especially from the plaintiff's standpoint. You might be interested in my article "Drafting of Civil Complaint: the Highest Leverage Obtainable in a Lawsuit", at Drafting of Civil Complaint: the Highest Leverage Obtainable in a Lawsuit.

Remedies are also important, and I make it a practice to review the possible remedies with each prospective client, including such remedies as actual damages, consequential damages, punitive damages, treble damages, statutory damages, legal fees, costs, injunctive relief, and attachment, and others.

I do not charge for consultations.

I look forward to hearing from you, if you want to discuss any legal problem, and what I might be able to do to help.
